Paimpol, France
Romsey has been twinned with Paimpol, a port on the north coast of Brittany, France, since 1960.

About Paimpol...
Paimpol is a delightful little port where three-masted sailing ships used to set sail for the cod fishing grounds off Iceland.

The town retains its original harbour, its links with the sea and hosts the famous 'Festival du Chant de Marin' in the port area. Paimpol is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery and the Breton countryside provides much of France with a range of vegetables.

A typical visit could see you tasting locally-caught fish, shellfish and of course Breton crêpes and cider.
